Mai Tageldeen

Mai Tag Eldien is a veterinarian, food safety consultant, and lecturer, as well as an Approved Tutor from the British Highfield Academy and founder of TAGmenta Company for Quality and Innovation. With over 10 years of experience in food control across international and local companies, she has trained more than 25,000 professionals across 10 countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Algeria, Libya, Oman, Tunisia, Palestine, Sudan, India, and Pakistan.

She is also the founder of FoodZone, a regional project promoting food safety and reducing food waste, which has reached over 35 million views across social media and built a following of 284K on Facebook. Her international contributions include serving as a food safety inspector at FIFA’s 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Jeddah, and as training manager for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah—becoming the first Egyptian doctor to oversee food control during Hajj.
